Meet at Serranos Mexican restaurant in Gunbarrel shopping center for a casual hybrid ride around Boulder Reservoir on easy trails and surrounding back country dirt roads.

First three Sundays (June 6, 13, 20) - Community Cycles Rolling Bike Clinics
Rolling Bike Clinics (RBCs) are bicycle powered mobile bike shops designed to fix broken bikes in low and medium income neighborhoods in Boulder. Volunteer bike mechanics load large capacity bike trailers with all the tools and parts needed for a mobile bike shop. Then they ride to the neighborhood, set up shop and fix bikes for a day. For the Walk & Bike Month RBSs in June, there will also be Bike Rodeos for kids offered at each RBC.
This year's RBCs will be held in neighborhood associations around the new Elmer's 2 mile path connection (in the area between 34th St. and Folsom and Valmont and Kalmia). See Community Cycles for schedule.

June 1st
The Mix:
Mixing Running, Cycling and Singles. 6pm meet at Full Cycle or Fleet Feet for a relaxing ride or run for about 45 minutes. At 7:15 we'll head over to the Boulder Draft House for Happy Hour and prizes. You do not need to participate in the ride or run to attend the Happy Hour but only people who ride or run will be eligible for prizes.

June 2nd
Full Cycle Maintenance Class
7:30pm at the Pearl & 18th Streets location. Learn basic to intermediate bike maintenance from the pros at Full Cycle. This is a fun and informative class. Please sign up by calling or stopping in the shop. These classes fill up quickly!

June 5th
National Trails Day Saturday - Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance
Construct New Singletrack at Betasso Preserve
Celebrate National Trails Day and help construct the new Benjamin Trail at Betasso Preserve. This multi-use path eventually connect to the existing Canyon Loop Trail. Volunteer trail-builders will enjoy spectacular views and fresh mountain air while working in forest groves and open meadows. Over 100 volunteers are expected at this event, but you will work closely with a small crew led by an experienced leader. Due to the steep and rugged backcountry terrain, this project will be physically strenuous. This National Trails Day project is is co-sponsored by Boulder County, Boulder Mountainbike Alliance, REI and the Boulder County Horse Association. Wagons Ho! (Mountain bike tour)
Open Space and Mountain Parks

Ranger/Wagon Master Dave Gustafson will lead this bike tour about the history of the short grass prairie. We'll ride 6 miles on single track and crusher fine trails. This is a moderately strenuous tour. A mountain bike, water and helmet are required. No pets please. Meet at the Lefthand Trailhead (go 4 miles north of Boulder on Hwy 36 to Neva Rd., the east 1/2 mile to the trailhead).

Hosted by Boulder Greenway's Program. An enjoyable ride that's fun for all ages. Ride the half or whole loop. Refreshments provided as well as a post-ride picnic and prize drawings. Starts and finishes at Scott Carpenter Park.

Little Bikes on the Prairie (Mountain bike tour)
10am - Noon
Join naturalist Dave Sutherland for an easy family bike trip along South Boulder Creek. We'll cycle slowly through rare tallgrass prairie and stop to explore the creek. Bring a bike helmet and bikes that are ready to ride! Tag-alongs and bike baby seats are welcome. Meet at the Bobolink Trailhead. Six easy flat miles round trip. Ages 6 and up.

Ride to the Boulder Jewish Festival Sunday June 6.
This year for the first time, Community Cycles will provide bike valet services for the Boulder Jewish Festival. A bike rally will leave from Congregation Bonai Shalom (1527 Cherryvale) at approximately 10:30, in order to make it downtown for the start of the Festival. 11 am to 5 pm, Sunday, June 6, 1200 - 1500 Pearl Street Mall and the Courthouse Lawn. Full Cycle Co-ed Ride

Co-ed rides at Full Cycle! 6pm every Tuesday. We'll meet at Full Cycle and pick a route that is enjoyable and relaxing. This is not a race but a fun ride around the Boulder area. About one hour at a moderate pace.

Pedaling to Work - What's Stopping You?

Overcome your bike commuting barriers and excuses with the creator of Riding FUNdamentals and Ready to PedalDVDs Ray Keener. He will cover all the details you’ll need to leave your car behind for the freedom and comfort of two wheels. Ray will cover topics on the gear you’ll need, finding good routes, options for carrying your things, dealing with sweat, safety concerns and tips, and more. Join us to get inspired about transitioning into the exciting world of bike commuting!

Intercambio Bike Ride and Safety Demo

Park(ing) Spaces Day
10am - 2pm, various locations. See Community Cycles for info.
Visit "Park(ing) Spaces" all over town where businesses adopt a parking space and convert it into a "park" for one day by setting up grass, flowers, chairs, etc. in the parking spot.

June 12th
BMA Trail Mix Ride
8am to noon-ish
Marshall Mesa Trailhead
Men, women and children - come out to the Marshall Mesa Trailhead for a low key social mountain bike ride! We will break into groups to suit different rider levels and then meet up again afterward to socialize and eat lunch, courtesy of IMBA. June 13th
Free Day at Indoor Cycling
9am - Noon, open to the first 35 participants. 3550 Frontier Ave.
Give the new velodrome a try at Boulder Indoor Cycling. The first 35 participants will get a free lesson and use of a track bike. You must bring your own helmet. The indoor mountain bike course will also be open to try out.

Lee Likes Bikes Clinic
Noon - 3pm at CU Research Park. $50 per person (special Boulder Bike Month price)
Learn the core skills to ride you bike in any terrain with greater safety, confidence and fun.
Who it's for: Any rider who wants to ride better, safer, faster -- and have more fun. You.

The Great 55th Street Egg-less Relay

This contest of wills and coordination pits corporate teams of three bikers and one pedestrian in a timed relay event, with each participant balancing a plastic egg filled with jelly beans in a spoon from their mouth...while negotiating an obstacle course.
