June 1: Pastries on the Path*        
Boulder Creek Path @ 17th Street; 8 a.m.

Every Friday morning, Boulder food Rescue and Community Cycles will provide a hot drink and tasty eats to bike commuters at Boulder Creek Path @ 17th Street. This series of events organized by the nonprofit team-up will extend through the end of June at this location. The event, inspired by a similar event in Portland, Oregon called "Breakfast on the Bridges" is a simple gesture to thank and encourage bike commuters for riding their bikes. Pastries, Bagels and Cake (cake for breakfast!?), are rescued Thursday night from area bakeries' surpluses, and coffee is provided by Conscious Coffee roasters.

June 2: Elevations and Community Cycles - Bicycle Recycling Drive & Celebration Event   
2805 Wilderness Place, Ste. 1000; Noon – 3:00 p.m.

Join Elevations Credit Union in creating a culture of cycling and support local non-profit Community Cycles.
The tax-deductible donation of your bicycle or parts will be matched with a cash donation from Elevations. Celebrate the success of this campaign by joining us for a June 2nd celebration event at Community Cycles with DJs, food, and fun. Bicycles will be collected from May 1 to May 31 at five Elevations locations. Call Elevations at 303.443.4672 x1121 to coordinate your donation.

Going Car-Free Workshop   
2805 Wilderness Place, Ste. 1000;
9 a.m.-11 a.m.
In this workshop, we'll get started by discussing the reasons why it makes sense to go car-free, including saving money, improving personal health, discovering the social effects of an "out-of-car experience", enjoying being outside, and reducing our environmental impact. June 3: Community Cycles Bike Rodeo       
Scott Carpenter Park; 1-2 p.m.

The Bike Rodeo will teach young children rules of the road and safe bike handling prior to the B360 ride.

B-360 - Fifteenth Annual Circle Boulder by Bicycle   
Scott Carpenter Park; 3 p.m.

Rain or shine, the City of Boulder Utilities Division’s Greenways Program will host its 15th Annual Circle Boulder by Bicycle, B-360 or B-180 self-guided ride.  This non-competitive ride follows the city’s bikeways beginning and ending at Scott Carpenter Park, 30th Street and Arapahoe Avenue, and is open to all ages.

June 9: Bicycling and the Zombie Apocalypse   
2805 Wilderness Pl, Ste. 1000; 9 a.m.-11 a.m.

This workshop is designed to teach you about the advantages and disadvantages of different types of bikes in the context of the zombie apocalypse.  We will discuss prominent features of many different types of bikes and the parts and accessories they include. Register at Community Cycles

June 10: Community Cycles Rolling Bike Clinic*       
Goss/Grove Neighborhood; 12 - 4 p.m.

Rolling Bike Clinics are bicycle powered mobile bike shops designed to fix broken bikes in low income neighborhoods in Boulder. Volunteer bike mechanics load our large capacity bike trailers with all the tools and parts needed for a mobile bike shop. We then ride to a neighborhood, set up shop and fix bikes for a day. Kids’ bike rodeos and neighborhood bike rides, both led by Community Cycles Bike Ambassadors , are also part of the day’s events. For more info: Rolling Bike Clinics

June 16: Community Cycles Big Summer Bike Sale   
Meadows Shopping Center (Foothills & Baseline);10 a.m.– 2 p.m.

Come find your perfect summer bike (cheap!) or donate your old bikes or parts to Community Cycles. There will be a bike rodeo for kids and a helmet fit for kids and adults. Chicks on Bikes: Bike Commuting Basics for Ladies

Whether you're just getting started or starting to think about commuting by bike, this fun and interactive workshop will get you off on the right foot. We'll discuss the right gear for you and your bike, practice some must know bike skills then wrap it up with a short and sweet bike ride to familiarize you with our local path system. Rolling Bike Clinics are bicycle powered mobile bike shops designed to fix broken bikes in low income neighborhoods in Boulder. Volunteer bike mechanics load our large capacity bike trailers with all the tools and parts needed for a mobile bike shop. We then ride to a neighborhood, set up shop and fix bikes for a day. Kids’ bike rodeos and neighborhood bike rides, both led by Community Cycles Bike Ambassadors , are also part of the day’s events. For more info: Rolling Bike Clinics

June 22: Park(ing) Spaces Day   
Various locations; 10 a.m.– 2 p.m.

Visit “Park(ing) Spaces” all over town where businesses adopt a parking space and convert it into a “park” for one day by setting up grass, flowers, trees, chairs, etc in the parking spot.

43 Breakfast Stations all over town;  7* – 9 a.m.
*select stations will begin serving at 6:30 a.m.
Complimentary breakfast at over 40 breakfast stations in the city of Boulder for choosing to travel by people power today! See our list of Breakfast Stations for details. Have your bike lightly tuned while you enjoy your breakfast. More than a dozen breakfast stations will offer Bicycle Service Stations on site. Find your nearest service station. Eleventh Annual Great 55th Street Egg-less Relay    
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Proving that alternative transportation can be cost efficient, convenient . . . and fun, we invite you to join us for The ELEVENTH Annual Great 55th Street Egg-less Relay hosted by Boulder East Community Transportation Options.  Each participant balances an egg in a spoon, held from their mouth, while negotiating an obstacle course for the coveted Boulder East Great 55th Street Egg Relay Trophy.  Awards for the fastest and most spirited teams (costumes encouraged!) including FREE lunch! Clips of Faith Beer & Film Tour- New Belgium Brewery

The Clips of Faith film tour is an extravaganza of beer and film expression. This year's tour will visit over a dozen cities highlighting fan films and beer, including Boulder for Walk & Bike Month.
