Bike Advocacy Letters and Meetings

BikeNonProfitNews

The Community Cycles Advocacy Committee advances the cyclists’ agenda on a daily basis,  working to make Boulder a better place to walk and ride a bike. This month, as with most, that meant a lot of letters to city staff, the Transportation Advisory Board, Planning Board and City Council. We also did our fair share of attending the meetings that keep this all going.   Support our work and Join us today!

We commented and worked on the issues including the Transportation Action Plan, biking and walking facilities in various projects in the development review process, bicycle projects in the regional Transportation Improvement Plan, and a number of ordinance changes related to bikes. Wonky stuff, but this is the meat and potatoes of bike advocacy. We need your support as a member to speak with a loud, strong voice for people who ride bikes and be able to keep doing this work day in and day out.  Join us today!
