The City of Boulder Transportation Department has agreed to fund several Vision Zero projects, working in partnership with the Transportation Advisory Board and Community Cycles. These projects are innovative, quick-build, impactful improvements to our streets to increase pedestrian and bicyclist comfort and safety. Learn more here.
Community Cycles is excited that intersection improvements at 26th and Spruce are in the plans. Below is a rough concept of the intersection, with crosswalks and curb extensions. This will reduce bicycle and pedestrian crossing distances and improve line-of-sight. Stay tuned for more outreach in September with project details. Thanks to the City of Boulder for listening and staying on track with Vision Zero projects.
