Introduction to eBike Safety and Maintenance

This is a free, hands-on, and interactive course for new and prospective ebike owners, offered through a partnership between Small Planet Ebikes and Community Cycles.

  • eBike systems (how eBikes work)
  • eBike regulations
  • battery safety
  • best practices for eBike and battery maintenance
  • riding practices specific to eBikes.

We encourage students to bring their own eBikes to the class, but do not feel that you must already own an eBike to attend. (This class does not cover eBike purchasing.)

Classes are completed for 2023. Check back in early 2024 for more!

Bike Fits

If you’re a typical around-town or recreational rider, come see industry veteran and long-time CC volunteer Ray Keener for a look at your position, pedaling style, and a few tweaks in the right direction!

You can read about Ray’s philosophy in Bicycle Retailer in a two-part series. Read Part 1 and Part 2 of the series with a look at how he helps Boulderites have a more comfortable ride.

Three 30 minute time slots are available every other Saturday starting at 11am.
