Our bikes are unique. Every one begins as a donation, and each one of them has been disassembled, cleaned, greased, reassembled and tuned by a professional mechanic or highly experienced volunteer. Several of our mechanics hold certification from Barnett Bicycle Institute or U of Q, and all have extensive experience overhauling bikes in non-profit or commercial bike shops. Whether you are looking for an understated, get-around-town bike, your first bike or a one-of-a-kind all terrain bike, we have you covered.
Think of us as you would a boutique thrift store – you never know what treasure you’ll find!
Where do Our Bikes Come From?
Community Cycles is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We accept donated bicycles from the Boulder/Denver area. Proceeds from bike sales support our efforts to get more people on bikes.
