Bookkeeper for Community Cycles
Work with the Financial Director to maintain books and records. Work with the Financial Director and Treasurer to prepare reports and analyses. Desire a candidate looking for long term employment with potential growth into higher-level duties.
5-10 hours / week. Flexible schedule. Mix of in-person and working from home.
Compensation range: Starting $15-$17/hr, Paid Time Off, Retirement Plan with Matching, Wholesale pricing on bicycle supplies and pro-deals from many vendors.
Bookkeeping duties: Data entry into Quickbooks Online

Input daily sales from POS system

Record register deposits – cash and credit card

Record online donations – authorize.net, paypal.com

Accounts Receivable- input payments received
-
Accounts Payable- input payments sent
-
Record Payroll data
Participate in Cash Management

Prepare bank deposits from Accounts Receivable

Prepare invoices for grants
-
Prepare outgoing checks
-
Help reconcile bank statements
Reporting & Meetings
-
Participate in Financial Committee meetings

Help prepare monthly reports
-
Help prepare other reports and analyses as needed

Help prepare annual budget
Desired Skills & Experience

Some bookkeeping experience

Quickbooks Online experience

Spreadsheet experience (Excel or Google)
