On Sunday, September 10th, the Buffalo Bicycle Classic team from the University of Colorado Boulder, and Community Cycles, bring you the 14 mile Little Buff Ride as part of the CU Elevations Credit Union Buffalo Bicycle Classic.
Be part of this great community event — register today!
The ride raises money for CU scholarships. This year, $5 from each Little Buff rider also goes to support Community Cycles’ annual Kids Holiday Bike Giveaway, helping us build a culture of cycling in our community and supporting low-income children and families with bicycles and bike safety gear for the winter holidays.
The Little Buff is a great family ride through the CU campus, south Boulder, the sweet little town of Marshall, Cherryvale Road, the Boulder Creek path, back to the start/finish in front of Benson Hall.
The ride features two rest stops, breaking up the pace and keeping it fun and family-friendly. The first stop at Cherryvale Road is staffed by Community Cycles volunteers and mechanics. The second rest stop is sponsored by George and Marsha Foreman, and features snow cones, temporary tattoos and balloon animals.
At the end of the ride, enjoy a full pasta lunch, with music, celebration, and beer back on campus.
This great community event could not happen without a lot of hard work. Thanks to CU College of Arts and Sciences, the ride committee, all the sponsors and Elevations Credit Union, the title sponsor of the Buffalo Bicycle Classic, and Community Cycles’ staff and volunteers.
Thanks and see you Sunday September 10th for one of Boulder’s best family rides!
