Community Cycles is continuing to work with the City of Boulder to implement the City’s publicly adopted Transportation Master Plan (TMP). Maybe you are wondering what is the TMP? The TMP sets forth the city’s transportation goals. Adopted in 1989, it’s the “City of Boulder’s blueprint for creating safe, convenient and sustainable transportation options that meet the needs of the community and increase accessibility.” Unfortunately, some of the work has stalled in the present political climate. Community Cycles submitted a letter to council reminding them and City staff of the extensive public outreach that lead to the goals contained in the TMP and the realities around achieving those goals.
