A Conversation with Kiln CoWorking: Partnering Through Common Mission

Latest Business Partner: Kiln CoWorking

We’re thrilled to have Kiln Boulder as a new business partner. And even more thrilled that they are bike-friendly.  You’ll likely see several bikes in offices or in their community bike rack! Recently we had a chance to sit down with Paige Bownds, Member Experience Manager of Kiln Boulder, and chat about how we share a community focused mission.

Why is community important to Kiln?

The art of community has been lost as technology and infrastructure has advanced – and it is the moments of pure human connection that keep the world going round. As we enter the 3rd year of a world telling us the safest thing to do is stay home and stay isolated – we have been given the opportunity, and privilege, to cultivate an ecosystem of people, products, places, and spaces that continues to evolve and pioneer the future of work.

What makes sense for Kiln in partnering with a cycling-focused non-profit?

From the beginning, Kiln Boulder was designed as an eco-friendly hub for the coworking community in Boulder, Colorado.  Paige said, “Kiln is focused on reducing our carbon footprint with solar panels and other environmentally friendly measures. The work being done by Community Cycles that promotes health and wellness, as well as the reduction of carbon footprints align with our mission here at Kiln as well.”

Our first joint venture will be having Kiln Boulder as the venue for our Bicycle Film Festival in April. Stay tuned for details to be announced in early March.
