Winter Bike to Work Day is an annual global event celebrating bicycle commuting in winter – with a touch of friendly competition.
Join us – and cyclists around the world – Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, to celebrate Winter Bike to Work Day! The annual event encourages new and seasoned cyclists to brave the elements and ride to work on their bikes. Work from home? No problem. Get out for a ride around Boulder before you start your day.
The reward? Free breakfast and camaraderie! Breakfast stations are open 7- 9am.

Host a Breakfast Station
Are you interested in hosting a Winter Bike to Work Day breakfast station this year from 7-9am on February 14th, 2025?
Boulder End-to-End Walk Feb 15th
This 15-mile walk takes urban hikers from Gunbarrel to South Boulder along dirt trails, multi-use paths, and sidewalks, through natural areas and neighborhoods, with scenic viewpoints and plenty of rest stops along the way.
Choose your own adventure and start at any of four points:
- Starting Point 1, Mile 0, 9 a.m.: Begin at Human Kind Coffee, 6558 Lookout Road, Boulder 80301. Get here via the 205 bus, or carpool.
- Starting Point 2, Mile 3, 10:00 a.m.: Celestial Seasonings, 4600 Sleepytime Drive, Boulder 80301.
- Starting Point 3, Mile 7, 12:00 p.m.: The Roadhouse Boulder Depot, where we will take a 45-minute lunch break.
- Starting Point 4, Mile 10.5, 2:30 p.m.: Meet the group at the Dushanbe Teahouse, 1770 13th Street, Boulder 80302.
- End Point, Mile 15, 5:00 p.m.: We’ll celebrate with a group dinner at the Southern Sun Pub & Brewery, 627 S. Broadway in the Table Mesa Shopping Center.

Community Cycles is offering 10% off all front and rear lights for the entire month of February.
Be safe out there and use a light from dusk to dawn.
Breakfast Station Map
Plan your route and maximize the number of breakfast stations you visit, many of which also offer other giveaways. Be sure to stop by the infamous Community Cycles breakfast station (2601 Spruce St- off the back alley) with treats from local businesses.
Invite your friends to meet up along your route! Some cyclists have a friendly competition to see how many breakfast stations they can visit for Winter Bike to Work Day.
