The city of Boulder is redesigning the Civic Area parkland that includes Central Park (in front of the Dushanbe Teahouse) and the area around the library. The proposed changes include making Canyon Blvd a “complete street” to better accommodate people that are not driving, and an extension of the path that runs along the Teahouse toward 17th Street to the east. An open house will be held on March 10th at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (next to the Teahouse). Take a look at the proposed concepts and add your comments to help guide this revisioning of Boulder’s civic and cultural heart! Members of Community Cycles’ Advocacy Committee will be there and and at stakeholder meetings to make sure the new plans prioritize transportation by walking and biking!
