Kid’s Bike Sale This Weekend

Donate a Bike

Summer is here! To help you keep your kids moving, we’re holding a Kid’s Bike Sale this weekend, June 21-22, 2020.

Many of the usual Colorado summer camps and activities have been cancelled or restricted due to COVID-19. Our own kid’s bike camp is not on the schedule for 2020. But we all know biking is a great way for the whole family to stay active. This weekend we will have a variety of kids’ bikes on hand to help get you out there.

Bikes for Kids, Sizes 12″-24″

Stop by our shop this Saturday and Sunday to check out bikes appropriate for most kids 3-12 years old. We have bicycles sized from 12″ up to 24″.

** We are open 11am-6pm. When you arrive, please join the main customer line and someone will help you choose the right size bicycle for your child. **

Please note masks must be worn by everyone over the age of 12.

Where do These Bikes Come From?

Bikes, both adult and kid, are donated to Community Cycles throughout the year. All bikes are refurbished and safety checked so you can be assured that they are in good condition for your next ride.

Bicycles are sold in our retail shop at affordable prices, which help get more people on bikes, and supports our great mission that bicycles are affordable and sustainable transportation.

Become a Member

While you’re here this weekend for the kid’s bike sale, think about becoming a member of our nonprofit. Our advocacy efforts help make streets safer, like helping pass “20 is Plenty” to lower speed limits on neighborhood streets. Your support will make streets safer for kids on bikes and walking to school. Become a Member here.

Community Cycles is able to do what it does because of our members throughout the Boulder community. Your membership is a building block for our biking community, our education and outreach work, and our programs to benefit our low-income friends and neighbors.
