Neighborhood GreenStreets are low-traffic streets where walking and biking have priority.
This fall, we’ll see improvements on Grove Street (from 15th to 23rd Streets). Improvements are also in the works on 23rd Street (from Spruce Street to Arapahoe Avenue). That will mean this street can be an effective alternative to busy Folsom and Arapahoe.
These improvements include paint, wayfinding, delineated curb extensions, artistic crosswalks, plus a new signalized bike/ped crossing at 23rd and Canyon. Vision Zero Flex Fund and the Neighborhood Speed Management Project support this project. We know there is more work to do to make our streets safer and we thank city staff for working with us on safety improvements with the Neighborhood Greenstreets projects.
