Thank You, Community Cycles Members!

The 2022 Community Cycles Member Party was a resounding success!

We are thankful to our Members and the greater Boulder community for supporting us and helping us grow. I continue to be ‘wow-ed’ by how passionate and committed the members and supporters are!

Word is getting out about the bikes and bike related adventures at our Silent Auction Fundraiser – people come to our party just to be able to bid on items from DYU Electric bikes, Crust Bikes, e-bike tours with JD’s Joyrides, BMA, Boulder BCycle, Rapha Boulder, Tom’s Small Planet eBikes, Copper Mountain Bike Park, Trestle Park at Winter Park, Surly and Jamis Bikes.

My gratitude is bursting for the community that exists and the Members and donors/partners that made all of this possible. Staff and volunteers, of course, are the backbones of the organization. You couldn’t ask for a more dedicated crew. Truly, we appreciate you all on a special evening, all for you at the 2022 Community Cycles Member Party, as well as items from a whole host of local partners.

The amount of support tells us a few things: the community at large values the work we do in advocacy, along with the momentum our non-profit bike shop is gaining in the secondary bike market (did you know our shop will sell over 1k upcycled bikes this year?) providng acces to affordable, refurbished bikes for transportation and fun. Secondly, we find that members want to get to know each other -we might ride bikes for different reasons or have very different tastes in what bikes we ride, but one thing stands out – we all love riding and have a passion for getting more people in the saddle….that’s an amazing tie that we all get to share.

My gratitude is bursting for the community that exists and the members and donors/partners that made all of this possible. Truly, we appreciate you all on a special evening, all in the spirit of Community Cycles Members.
