Community Cycles Hosts Fundraiser with Bicycle Film Festival

Community Cycles is excited to host the inaugural Bicycle Film Festival on Friday, April 22nd.

Thanks to sponsors The Pro’s Closet and Cherry Creek Mortgage, our fundraiser features film viewings at Kiln Coworking with an all-new international selection of short films from the BFF collection. A diverse curation of filmmaking styles: narratives, documentaries, international award-winning filmmakers, and emerging directors all sharing their passion for bikes and cinematography.

TIME: 5PM, 7PM & 9PM
PRICE: $30
WHERE: Kiln (2101 Pearl St, Boulder, CO – Valet Bicycle parking will be available)

  • A world class series of short films celebrating the bicycle.
  • Appetizers + one beverage.  Additional beverages available with a donation.
  • Various tables, panels and forums featuring cycling topics like CAN (Core Arterial Network) from 6-8pm, ebikes and advocacy.

With Community Cycles’ mission of access to bicycles, it seems natural to partner with BFF, which promotes bicycle sustainability and diversity in their films for 20 years.

Along with the short film series, you’ll also be treated to Bicycle Topic Talks between screenings with local groups on topics like ebikes, Diagonal Bikeway, CAN (Core Arterial Network), and bicycle equity. 

Funds raised at this event will be used to support programs at Community Cycles like our DIY bike shop, bike repair workshops and getting bikes in the hands of those who need them.
