Thanks for another great Walk & Bike Month

BikeNonProfitNews

It’s hard to believe another Walk and Bike Month has come and gone. Bike to Work Day was as fun as ever, with cyclists sharing laughs over breakfast at 45 breakfast stations around town. Some of Boulder’s breakfast stations were even named 2015 Star Stations, including South Side Walnut Café and Hospira Boulder/ J&L Distilling at Goose Creek Path. More than 5,000 people registered for Bike to Work Day and even more actually participated—we’re estimating that an impressive 7,000 rode their bikes to work on June 24!From Bike to Work Day to Circle Boulder by Bike and New Belgium’s Clips Tour, it’s been another successful Walk & Bike Month and we’re grateful to our 50+ sponsors who helped make it happen. Thank you to all of our volunteers, every business who hosted a breakfast station, and every person who got involved in the month-long activities to celebrate walking and biking culture in Boulder. Next year, we look forward to celebrating a big milestone—40 years of Walk and Bike Month!
