Kids Holiday Bike Giveaway

**Unfortunately, due to COVID, we are postponing this event until April 2021. If you registered and received a confirmation to attend this event, watch your email for an update.**

Nothing is better than seeing a kid get her first bike!

…Unless it’s giving a bike to a low-income child and family.

Make a donation today to gift bikes to low-income kids in Boulder this holiday season through Community Cycles’ annual Kids Holiday Bike Giveaway.  The Kids Holiday Bike Giveaway is Community Cycles’ oldest  ongoing event, now in its 15th year!

Our Bike Giveaway is a community event from beginning to end. Throughout the year, Community Cycles takes in hundreds of kids’ bikes from community donations. During the fall season, volunteer mechanics donate their time preparing bikes for the December event. A hundred volunteers and staff come together on the day of the event to distribute 300+ bikes, seeking to make access to bicycles equitable throughout our community. That’s a whole  lot of smiles!

Bike Giveaway Dates:

Postponed until April 2021.

Because of COVID-19, you’ll make an appointment for a specific time for your family on one of the above days.

Thank you Boulder Community Health, Boulder Neurosurgical and Spine Associates, City of Boulder Health Equity Fund, Conscience Bay, Boulder Baseline, LLC / Bruce Dierking, Walnut Cafe, and the Kirk “Rocky” Derichsweiler Foundation!

The Walnut Cafe and the Kirk “Rocky” Derichsweiler Foundation have been an outstanding source of support and inspiration over the years.  THANK YOU!

Sign ups are currently closed due to postponing the event. Please check back in the spring for new event dates.

A parent or guardian of a child (2-12 years old) must present ONE of the following on the day of the event FOR EACH CHILD:

  • most recent report card
  • a valid photo identification (I.D.)
  • passport
  • birth certificate

Donate now to help make this holiday season special for a child!
