Thanks to everyone who participated in making Winter Walk and Bike Week a big success! The week kicked off with a reading by our Mayor, Suzanne Jones, and a ride and walk from the Municipal Building to the Hyatt Place at Boulder Junction, where the Hyatt generously sponsored a hot breakfast for all. A series of events led up to Winter Bike To Work Day when hundreds of people pedaled, including more than 200 bicyclists who visited the Community Cycles’ breakfast station. Friday evening was a well-attended happy hour at Twisted Pine. The week concluded with a walk on the LoBO trail from Longmont to Boulder, and a Bike to Brunch event. Special thanks to everyone who rode, and to all of the great partners who make this week possible: GO Boulder, City of Boulder, Boulder County, CU, Boulder Transportation Connections, Boulder Walks, Shared Paths and Community Cycles.
