You may have noticed another new face at the desk when you visit Community Cycles. We are excited to have Izzy Wilson join our team as a sales associate. Izzy first started cycling with her father and his friends and from there, the seed was planted: Izzy fell in love with cycling. She later raced for the Colivita Junior team. After taking a break from the racing scene, she started road and mountain bike racing while attending the University of Vermont. After graduating, she did her first Trans Am ride with friends from Bath, Maine to Seattle, which took 2 ½ months to complete. When asked why she likes cycling, she says, “I like riding because I feel at home on a bike and it brings you to many places and you meet the coolest people.” Please stop by and say hi to Izzy the next time you’re in the shop.
