Donate Kid’s Bikes – Give Them a New Life

Nothing is better than seeing a kid get her first bike!  …Unless it’s passing that outgrown bike along to a low-income child who will love it just as much.

Donate Kid’s Bikes to Community Cycles

Clear those outgrown kid’s bikes out of your shed, garage or back porch. Community Cycles wants your donations to pass along to a new generation of Boulder children at our Kid’s Holiday Bike Giveaway. We give away over 350 bikes to low income kids every December at this annual event.

Drop off:

  • anytime we’re open, Thursday – Sunday, 11am-6pm.
  • 2601 Spruce St, Unit B (back of the building), Boulder 80302

What Kind of Kid’s Bikes?

We’re especially looking for 24″ kids bikes – bikes that will fit 9-12 year olds.

Any size and condition is fine – working or not.

We have a lot of requests from families for these larger sizes! Kids this age want some independence that a bike can give them to ride to school and around town.

Why Donate Your Bikes to Community Cycles

Your donation is a building block for our biking community in Boulder. We offer bike education workshops, our advocacy crew works for safer pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, and we have programs to benefit our low-income friends and neighbors.
